HPV, the virus that causes genital warts can lay dormant in your system for up to 10 years. Your friend or his girlfriend could have had it for a long time and not known. They could both have it. There are many different strains of HPV, some cause warts others cause cervical cancer so they both need to be checked out. Over 75 percent of people will have some form of HPV in their life. Good luck!

Yes it is called HERPES or could be another STD. He got it from sex. Either his GF cheated or he or her had it before the relationship started and it is just appearing now. Must see a doctor and not have sex at all (even oral) when warts are present. And always use condom oral or intercourse even when he doesnt have a wart.

You know he has never had it before.. and you know it just appeared in the last few months? Well, it sounds like your looking in places you shouldn't be. So, maybe he is the one cheating. But like everyone else has said.. the HPV virus can be in your system for very long time. He could of had it and not known.. and she could have had it and not known! You just never really know!

sounds like he is the one cheating. He may have had this years ago and even if he wore a condom, he could have gotten them on his scrotum and they spread. they are dormant until he is under stress and then they spread... I hope he gets them removed because they cause cervical cancer in women.
