no, you have a urinary tract infection. see your doctor now a simple antibiotic will take care of it in a few days

It can do - but you really have to have drunk a lot (I used to drink 300 units per week for several years and never had this issue). This is a very rare thing to happen.

It could be linked to the liver if his liver was this bad there would have been very noticable signs (like jaundice) going on for quite some time.

Chances are it's either a kidney, bladder or prostate problem - he should see a doctor.

Alcohol is metabolised by the liver and excreted by the kidney.One of the major problems of people who drink a lot of alcohol is that they over work their liver usually ending in liver cirrhosis. The liver plays a major role in the blood clotting mechanism of the body, thus when their is a liver problem the victim tends to bleed internally as blood finds it difficult to clot.
One of the symptoms of this internal bleeding is heamaturia ie blood in the urine.

As all urine comes from the Kidneys, its possible that your dad may have a minor infection.

It really needs a check up to be sure that there is nothing serious, But don't leave it too long.

I don't know, but alcohol can definitely be a cause of pouring urine on the sidewalk.

Blood in urine is serious...could be kidney or bladder problem. you should bring your dad to a hospital as soon as possible. DO NOT DELAY...
