I like to write my own music. Strange as it may seem,I love to play my guitar and sing the song I wrote to my father for his memorial and the song I wrote for my brother for his memorial. It reminds me that I have known true love and that our love will always live. It reminds me that I am still a part of someone.

I don't know exactly... but this one song by Peabo Bryson, "If ever you're in my arms 'gain" starts to play I just go all warm & mushy lol. It's also the theme to a soap opera back in the 80s. I think "Santa Barbara" which starred a very young actress named Robin Wright (she's now married to Sean Penn, Madonna's ex)
Anyhow, guess it's something to do with the decade (80s) being it was a simpler time for me & of course good music;)

Just about anything by the Grateful Dead makes me feel groovy...especially Eyes of the World, Box of Rain, Dark Star, well I could go on and on with Dead songs.

Mr. Tambourine Man by Bob Dylan.

Closer to Fine by the Indigo Girls.

And lots of others that I'm not thinking of right now.

Whenever I'm in a mood that's just not right I listen to The Blues Travelers, Dave Matthews, Jason Mraz(but only his live stuff). All of these guys seem to be able to get me back on an even keel.
