Sounds like your friend is stuck up and jealous because she can't skateboard. Or She is embarrassed because of your atire while skateboarding. I was a cheerleader once, and I never hung out with them. Too stuck up and loved to gossip. Do what makes you happy and it sounds like you like to skateboard. Maybe you can teach her or him to skateboard

Does it really matter what people, including your friends think? It didn't for me...skating wasn't nearly as accepted when I was a kid as it is now...we were CONSTANTLY bullied. Do what you enjoy, both the cheering and skating are rad...don't let your skater friends belittle you for cheering or your cheerleader friends belittle you for skating.

Do both! If they are truly your friends, they would CHEER you on do what you like. Do you ask your friends to stop doing what they like? Be happy and enjoy life. Like they say, LIFE IS TO SHORT. Have fun and enjoy what you truly love.

Both activities take, balance, skill, concentration and courage. I wish I could stand on a board! What if they said you can'nt Swim and cheer? Silly huh? I know, one is prissy, the other is grundge... so what! Be true to yourself! K?

one is cool, the other is cool, but your friends tell you both together are not cool? After a certain age, your friends will realize you need to map your own path. Life is too short not to go for it.

Definately do them both if you like them. Maybe after awhile you'll find that you like spending more of your time with one and you'll focus on that. Your friend has some bad advice...maybe you should advise her giving advice.

Do what makes you happy. That is what matters more than anything else. Don't limit yourself according to other peoples expectations.

don't let your friends tell you what to do. Do both or what ever you really like more. And that you think will give you a great future.
