I have a mac. When sending my cam on messenger others say they see not available. This never happened b4?

Mac ibook G4. Reinstalled the cam with software. Tried all the prreferences. On my end shows I am broadcasting. The peopleI chat with say it reads not available on their end.

I am asssuming you're using Yahoo Messenger. On June 1st, Yahoo stopped supporting webcam for users of versions below 7, and since Yahoo hasn't updated it's Mac version of messenger in years, we, as mac users, are once again shunned. They're trying to make the cam thing go faster, or they just want people with older versions to update so they will get more advertisements. I have tried to use Jabber to communicate to my Yahoo friends. I got the text to work, but so far, no video.
