Is it safe to download from youtube.com?

I love the videos on that site but I don't see how some of it can be legal. I refuse to actually download or share anything. I love to watch them though. Is that stuff pirated or is it safe to download?

Not a good idea I have heard of people getting viruses from that site.But it's up to you to chance it.
