is your friendship strong and will it stand the test of u telling him? thats what u should look at. mayb u should wait and find out whether he likes u too before u rush into nething. if u really like him ull wait 4ever to be with him. but friendship is also important. so my advice dont rush into it before u know all the facts.

How much younger? Like 2 or 3 years? Or 20 or 30 years.
I'm 25 and I really like a girl at work who is 16. I have left things well alone as the age difference is a big barrier - if she was 20 I would have asked her out by now.
If you think the relationship would be approprate then go for it!

Balance up the risks, do you want to risk losing the friendship versus the fun of a relationship. You dont say how big the age gap is but if its only a couple of years it wont make any difference one way or the other. Guys dont tend to get freaked out by this so why dont you just tell him you like him.. He will be flattered anyway... i know I would, and you never know ....he may feel the same about you and could be having the same dilemma.

i guess the question to ask is how much younger? but i am 2 years older than my boyfriend and we were friends for 2 years before we started dating. i have dated him for almost 3 years now. i suggest that you tell him how u feel, he might feel the same. if not u being honest with him just might help your trust with each other in that friendship. good luck

If you are good friends then there won't be much of a problem.
You tell him, i was in the same situation 6months ago and now me and my now girlfriend are buying a house and plan on getting engaged in the near future and thats because we've known each other for a long time.

As soon as sex comes (no pun intended) into the equation then the relationship changes. You can either tell him how you feel and see where it goes, or say nothing and wonder what may have been. I can't tell you what the right or wrong thing is to do because there is no wrong or right. It's not easy!

I would take it slow and send him gestures showing him you like him more than a friend..Once you do that ask him out!Asking a guy for a date usually flatters him..Talk to him explaining you dont want to hurt the friendship you have with him if it leads to more than that eventually and get his view on it..good luck!
