I've tried Motherload, rosebud and kaching;!;! but it didn't work.

In the regular Sims2 game (not any expansion packs) you hav to hit
Then a blank entry line will come up at the top of the screen. It is here that you type the cheat codes.
The main one is "motherlode" (spelled that way) to get more money.

try mother_lode
and first pull up the cheat window with conrtol shift c

it's motherlode, not motherload.
maxmotives gives all green bars as well.

those are for the sims, not for sims2
