linking this to my expertise, the beatles had numerous songs that had a "magic feeling" in them. what i mean is songs that just hit a chord (no pun intended) in most people, a great example of this is green day's "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)". just about everyone of all ages & diversities can enjoy that song, because it brings a sertain feeling to that individual.
so i ask, which artist(s) have the most of that in thier music.

I agree about Good Riddance that one is,,...well, oddly magical. theres a song called Hear You Me by Jimmy Eat World that i really like and Believe by Yellowcard. There are many songs like that, but there needs to be more.

while everyones explination is valid, clearly the most passionate, magical, and talented artist is Jack Johnson. He's not like other artists in aspects such as every song is a love song about how theyre sad just with a different beat. He sings from his heart you know? whatever comes to his mind. He also has very catchy songs that you just cant stop listening to

I have to throw U2 in there. As long as they've been recording music, you can hear every ounce of their passion. There is no question that they believe in what they're saying and performing, even in the latter albums. Where most bands at this point of their career are just trying to fill record company contracts, hold on to any remaining relevance, or just playing reunion tours to make a buck, U2 have remained as passionate as ever about their music (and their causes).

This is one of those subjective questions. Feeling "magic" is different for all.

But anyway, The Secret Machines is a good one.
