I hate doing homework, too...
You really don't learn anything by doing it... you end up doing it all wrong, and you can't just fix it and get the right answers...
My mom said that when she was in Highschool (1989) homework didn't even count for a grade...just so you would learn a little.... I HATE it...

So you don't have to stay living with your parents until your 30 years old and they kick you out because you can't get a good job and/or are lazy.

I agree. Not only is it boring, kids should have time to enjoy "life" more -- "time to be kids". It's only after one has chosen a career and is going to college that he should be "burdened" with homework.

The school system needs to change.
