If that were the case man would have began creating numbers all those centries ago and someone would still be coming up with numbers and it would be a 24-7 deal.Does that make sense?

The number system is a rule. No one can write or invent all the numbers, someone invented the rule, and that is why there are never ending.

I don't believe it would be impossible for the numbers system to be never ending, if we have a reason for more numbers we can always create them. This does not mean man has to keep counting, i don't think anyone has ever counted to a million yet we can mathematically deal with larger numbers if we need to. Does that make sense?

All you need for a sequence to be infinite is a rule that tells you how to get from any term in the sequence to the next one. With the natural numbers, the rule is "add 1". Any time you have a candidate for the "last" number, you can always add one to get one more.

It's impossible for the numbers not to be never ending. If they had an end, somewhere would be the biggest number and you wouldn't be able to add 1 to it. I hope you can see that is ridiculous.
