Most of the reasons have been covered, We have too many things going on in our lives today, that when it is time to go to bed at night, our minds are still racing. relaxation before bedtime seems to be a thing of the past.when I say relaxation, i mean a point where we quiet our minds, and bodies, enough to fall asleep.
My grandmother brought up a good point, she said in her day, without electricity you had nothing to do and so when it got dark outside that was a sign to go to bed, of course they were up at the crack of dawn, of course gone are those days.
I myself keep on the TV in the bedroom which is a terrible thing to do.
