It'll be easier to get a good job with a college degree and a felony conviction than it will be with just the conviction.

Contact an Attorney. In most states, you can get a felony expunged or vacated. You might even be able to go back and change your plea to not guilty (with the courts agreement). This will probably cost you around $500, but it will be money well spent. Once this is done, any time you come across the question "Have you ever been convicted of a felony" you can legally answer "No". After you do this, you can even get your right to possess firearms restored. Good luck!

It depends what you did. If its not to harsh of a felony you should be ok. its better to go for it than to do nothing and just worry about it! a college degree and the experience will be beneficial to you personally if not professionally. get educated. do it. worry bout all the other stuff when it happens. you will find a way.

You will never get a good job if you don't try either, so get going! You might talk to a counselor at the college who would be able to check into things and let you know if it's a legitimate concern for the field you want to go into, or if it's something you can stop worrying about.

I have dealt with this first hand....you CAN get financial aid to go to college with a felony as long as it was not a drug charge, but you will soon find that finding a job will be difficult even with a college degree. Possible...but difficult.

To late to worry now .Needed to worry when you were committing the felony.I would have some pity if it was a misdemeanor but a felony could be attempted murder or something of that nature

Don't worry man, not all the good jobs require background check. Get a degree or a diploma that will keep you moving. Alright.
