Thank you guys. Actually, this link will ask you to login to your account. Unfortunately, I did so. And some of my friends receive similar links from my Yahoo ID. I've already changed my password. I hope it won't have further damage.

Yeah, probably it is, if they sent it to you and they say they didn't there might be these possiblities:

1. They really sent it to you with a virus. They wanted to send an e-mail to your computer to infect it with a virus. They intentionally did it.

2. Some keylogger or hacker stole their passwords and made that e-mail with a virus. It was done by someone else, if they said that they never sent the mail.

3. The mail doesn't look like to have any virus. As long as you don't open the attatchment, delete it.

Good luck

I wouldn't worry about it too much. It is just a link. Did you get any page displayed when you clicked the link and did you download anything or click on any links. If you have constantly updated your computer with windows update you don't have to worry about anything. Viruses can be downloaded to your machine if a specific Vulnerability exists with your operating system. This was fixed a long time ago.

sukrant_cool - your system could have been infected with another virus - Blackworm - which completely destroys the data on the hard drive

hope this helps
