I would suggest watching craigslist to get an idea for prices, there are many apartments advertised there daily. Also you should choose which are of town you like best and how you are going to get to work. It is cheaper to live in the suburbs.

Anyways, check out craigslist, they even have a short term and temporary section.

As mentioned, it depends on the neighbourhood, and also on if you are going to share with anyone. If you want your own flat, it can be hard to find something for under $600 CAD per month. If you are sharing you can find something for half that.

depends on where you want to live.. the further out of the city you go the cheaper..and with sky train its very easy to commute to the downtown core..good luck
