"Home" is a fantasy.
She can't tolerate her new world
She cries and misses her oppresive farm life
She clings to that which destroys her
"Home" comfort, peace, annihilation.
She can't face herself
The voyager at the 'end' of the voyage ---
That heroic journey to come "home"
we've been telling ourselves for too long.
There is no such place.
To be human is to be forever "not-at-home"
Everything else is hiding in the cushion of "happiness"
And violently IGNORING the world.

Old Saying , Home is where your heart is. That could mean lots of things. For many it is family, friends, close connections. Dorthy was swept away to OZ, made new friends , saw new and wondrous sights, but it never was home.

The grass isn't greener on the other side.
My home is in Manty WI! because all my friends and family is there and I know it like the back of my hand. I can be welcomed and come and go as I please. many people do not leave there. It's somewhere I know I can always go to.

Haha- i just watched "The Family Stone" with SJP and that is the theme of the movie.
We are all just little monsters at home- our true selves- with our families. It is comfortable, easy, and explains everything about who we are and how we turned out the way we are.

ever been in the service? ever been away from your home for a long time? if you had, you'd know the meaning. if you haven't felt that way yet, then you're not really home. you'll know it when you get there. i didn't find my home until i was 35 yrs old, but i'm here and i know it.........you'll know it too when you get there.

It's just a saying....a proverb....Anyone who has a home can relate....It just goes without a definition.
