well i think its your choose when and where you should wear heels. i didn't start wearing heels until i was 18 but thats when i felt ready to wear them. if you feel comfortable wearing them now well i think you should. there is no age limit. feeling comfortable is better than what people think you look like. as long as you feel good well than thats the main thing.

i got a pair of granny boots at 13 during the grunge years and before that my highest heels were some cowboy ankle boots and i regret wearing my granny boots every day now. even grown women should stay away from wearing high heels daily because it really messes up their feet. i know being in your 40s seems like such a long time away to you all but it's not absolutely impossible that you'll actually reach that age people are living longer and longer with medical advances and you don't want to be arthritic and crippled prematurely.
p.s. yes i did a lot of walking around in high school, and college was like, loads and loads of walking in heels, just for the sake of looking good. probably if i could redo college the two things i'd change would be to study more and not treat my pairs and pairs of high heels as walking shoes.

I'd never believe I'd ever say this, but wearing heels often, will kill your knees and back. I used to wear heels every other day 7 years ago in high school. Now I have to go to therapy and sleep on a posturepedic bed for my back. There is nothing wrong with wearing heels, just not too often. I think a female shouldn't wear heels until she is 17.

I think at 13 you should be able to wear heels but no often. 16 and up is a good age to start wearin them more regularly but even thenm you may attract attention. It's all about how you carry yourself with it and where you wear them to.

I say, when your work requires you to dress up.
Wearing heels once in a while to look nice isn't bad, but at my school, there are a lot of people who wear heels everyday because they probably feel 'important' in them or something. High school is too young to wear them like slippers. Those people still need to grow up. I would've said try college, but who wants to trod around campus in heels? : ) Try work.

After high school...around 18yrs. Wearing heels in school makes no sense because you have to walk around alot and eventually they will hurt your feet.
