A girl and a guy had had feeling for each other short after they knew each other, and relationship went on for a year. Short after an argument, the guy started to check out / look at someone else, even before they made it clear if they would still be together ...

Would you still expect him to be honest and faithful to you, if there's still a chance to continue the relationship ?

Irish : Hey, I like the quote in your profile. Is that your own words, or someone else's ?

Yes. As long as the two people involved agree that they are still in a relationship, the guy should remain honest and faithful to the girl.

If this guy is serious about the relationship, he should be honest and faithful.
But this is a situation that needs to be clarified. The girl needs to know for sure if the relationship is over. If the guy does not give a clear answer, he is just messing with the girl. Probably trying to see if he can see what's out there and still keep the girl should he find nothing else (u know...as backup).

I would expect that if I was in a relationship that that fellow wouldn't be out trying to get it on with someone else, even if we were fighting!
Somehow I don't think my problems with him would be resolved if he put his dick in some other strange vagina!
All the same boys will be boys and will look at other females regardless.

umm yea.. If your still in the relationship then he has the responsiblity to you to be honest and faithful. Sit him down in a civil enviroment and make it clear to him that if the relationship continues then you want it to continue faithfully on both ends.

well look around you, the whole city is neither guy or girl. there must be a guy walking down the street that is taller and handsome that your boyfriend right? if that is the case, looking is okay. just talk with him, you two can even compare which girls look better and wich guy look hotter. if he likes that, that you two should be find. if he is jealous, that he will stop his habit in looking.

Yes. Until there is an established break-up, then officially he is to remain faithful. Break-ups should never be "assumed"

When in doubt, play the field. Yes, easy come easy go. There is no commitment there.
