TYhe Problem isn't in the Keyboard, its in he Keyboard settings under Windows...

- Open "Control Panel" from "Start Menu";
- Open "Regional and Language Options";
- On the screen that will appear, choose the "Languages" tab (the one in the middle);
- Click on the "Details" button;
- A new screen will appear...make sure that the keyboard installed is the matching Keyboard (ie, don't choose US Keyboard and you are using a UK keyboard)
Normally, keyboards are soled locally matching the countries keyboard layout, so install your country's keyboard.

To do so:
- Click on "Add";
- Choose the Language then choose the Region Layout;
- Click "OK";
- Click on the drop-down menu at the top of the previous screen to set the default keyboard layout;
- Below it, in the list of keyboards, click on the old keyboard layout and then click the "Remove" button';
- Click "OK"...

Try typing in some text and see the result for yourself...

Good Luck!

I am assuming that you have checked that the Cap Lock or the Num Lock is not turned on. Only other thing I can think of is try a keyboard with a different connector (USB instead of PS2, for example) in case it is a bad O/I card that goes out when it gets too warm.

Did you change the language settings.
If you have office, Word. go down to the taskbar right click in the blue area go to toolbars, select language bar, it will appear on the taskbar, click the bar, hover over and find the options link, right click, settings, make sure it is in English, if it is and there is no other language, then I am clueless.
