No, it'll never happen. This is not to say women can't be good or even great athletes, but you have to face facts, no woman is as fast as the fastest man, or as strong and strongest man. While they may be smarter they may be smater than the smartest man, they can't match up on the physical side.
Now, contrast this with other non-contact sports like golf. They will compete as well as men.

If they kick or punt, it may happen someday. Will a woman ever be strong enough provide pass protection or run blocking as an offensive linewoman, or bust through the line as a linebacker or defensive linewoman against 330-pound men? Probably not. Will she ever be able to cover Randy Moss or Terrell Owens on a fly pattern? Only if she's Marion Jones, and even then she'll be wearing pads. Will she be tough enough to withstand a blindside hit by a linebacker or defensive lineman as a running back or a QB? Very doubtful. Could she take a hit from a defensive back while trying to catch a pass? She will, but she probably won't get up.

I can see it happening in the future. I think they would be a kicker or punter or maybe even quarterback! I doubt that it'll be one of those physical players like linebacker. I wouldn't be surprised to see a female play in the NFL, but probably as one of those positions I mentioned.

NO WAY! Chicks that are usually fast are skinny and weak! Chicks that are usually strong are fat/beasty and slow. Maybe they can be linemen, but the REAL linemen would be much bigger and/or stronger and/or faster. No way! Light the fuse on your tampon!

no they cannot withstand a hit...if they were punter or kicker it MIGHT be possible. but i doubt it will ever happen..plus they ***** too much, they would get hit and yell at the other player that they broke a nail...
