Hi,

I highly recommend for you to make a plan to get your diploma. When you have this, everything will be so much easier. In the meantime, check out any supermarkets and/or department stores in your area. Also any local restaurants would most likely have openings.

Check your local paper -- In many cases the paper's classified are now online.

Sometimes if you apply at a temporary employment agency they can help you find a job in a field that might not require a GED or diploma.

I use a FREE online application that allows you to keep track of any ads you find, jobs you apply for. You can send or print correspondence such as a cover letter, thank you letter, or cold call letters. It also allows you to keep track of your job search history. This site is jobsearchlog.com..... check it out. Absolutely free and real helpful!

Good Luck,

Karen

You can search on any job site, just like anyone else. However, be aware that a lot of the opportunities are going to be limited. Employers placing people in the type of positions you're looking for don't usually need to spend the money on recruiting like they do for other positions.

I would highly recommend getting your high school equivalency to better yourself, and consider continuing your education - even trade school. Learn some type of demand skill so that you have a better opportunity to earn higher wages, and thus more job satisfaction in the future.

Good luck.

Dude... just take the test and get your GED. Until then, work at McDonalds or Wallmart or pump gas. C'mon, there are lots of "JOBS" that ANY dumb-@$$ can do. Take one. Earn some money and get your freakin GED if you don't want people calling you a dumb-@$$ all the time.

There are some jobs out there, but if you can finish your education, you will of course have better opportunities. If you can't or won't then try to find a skilled job that you can train for and work your way up. Try to find something that you would like to do.

I believe the major job search engines allow you to select an educational level as a filter in job searches. Try http://www.monster.com or http://www.hotjobs.com and see if that option is available.
