How long does the pregnancy hormone stay in your body after having a baby?

I'm not breastfeeding.

My doctor told me it can take up to a year after you finish breast feeding, so I would think that if you are not breast feeding it would be a year from birth.

Depends on whether you are nursing or not, but things usually go back to normal within six weeks if you aren't.
