Alright, so I am in finals in school and am trying to figure out what I need to maintain my A's. I made up an equation, but am not sure if the math is correct or not. Here is how I try to figure it out:

For example, my German final is worth 5% of my total grade.
I take the 92.58 I have on the semester and multiply it by .95 to find the 95% of that grade. I now have 88.9 as 95% of the grade. In my school, the lowest A is 89.5%, so I subtract 88.9 from 89.5 to find I need to get .59 of the 5 possible percentage points on the final. I now divide that .599 by the 5% to find I need to get a approx. 12% on my final to get an A in German.
To check, I add that .59 to my 88.9 which will be approximately 89.5% for the semester.
If anyone sees an error, please point it out.
Thanks
