We are doing a debate in school, which is a better season, spring or fall. If you could answer honestly, and please don't just say spring or fall. Please give real reasons, and not just "because the weather is nicer" or something like that!

Muslim Girl 20, I would like to say that I disagree with you completely. First of all summer isn’t the only season when hope and happiness are refreshed and renewed, and summer isn’t the only season when people believe there is still hope in the world. And not every one thinks fall is gloomy. And I don’t see sadness in everyone's eyes when fall comes. So maybe some people think this, but your answer is to opinion based, not something I could use for my debate, especially because I think completely differently then you.
Sorry again, but I can’t use anything you said. Way to opinionated, no facts.

Spring is better because it presents the beginning of Summer, when hope and happiness are refreshed and renewed. That's when you actually believe there is still hope in this world so it gets better and acts in a saner and more rational fashion instead of its seemingly unending insanity. However, Fall has that gloomy aura about it. Just look around you when Fall comes and you'd see sadness in everyman's eyes.
Fall simply reflects grief inside us like a perfect mirror. For me Fall is a nightmare coming into reality before my very eyes.

Personally, I like the fall better. I like the idea of the leaves changing colors and it's fun to walk with my boyfriend in the leaves. plus, in the spring, i have trouble with allergies and I feel like I am constantly on over the counter (OTC) allergy medicine.

Fall because the weather is not to hot or not to cold. Also, school starts again and you can make a fresh new beginning.

Fall is better because it is nice and cool out and not muddy. Also, it's really pretty because the trees turn colors and it's really relaxing.
