Leave him. You can definitely get better pitchers who have high strikeout ratios besides cabrera. Liriano for one.

Cabrera is consistently inconsistent. He may shine with 7 to 10 strikeouts one start, then have that many walks the next. I would leave him on the side to be someone else's headache.

Don't pick him up (unless you are in a real deep league and can drop a junk player). Not worth the hit on your ERA, and he hasn't been striking out too many either (only one game over six K's). Put him on your watch list and if he strings together two or three good starts, reconsider.

unless you're hurting for strikeouts, don't pick up cabrera. i had him on my roster but dropped him because when he loses, he loses big. i thought with mazzone's coaching, he'd be better, but he's regressed.

i just cut him in my league, so i guess you know my answer. he'll help you in k/9, but sometimes he's not in long enough to build up the k numbers. he'll hurt you in too many other categories, mainly WHIP.
