If you want to really specialize in this and do extensive detailing, which involves cleaning and polishing just about everything and can take several hours or perhaps all day, you could get up to $125 each. When I was in college we had a room mate who was nuts about his car. He'd even go so far as to take off the rear license place so he could wax underneath it. Some people like that sort of thing but don't have the time to do it themselves, and so are willing to pay for things that include insanity like putting Armor-All on the insides of the tires that face the underside of the car and picking all the little pebbles out of the treads.

To me it makes more sense to spend all day cleaning one car for $125 that to wash 12 or 13 for $10 each.

Some people love their cars and don't want so much as a flake of dust anywhere. These are the people would would flick open an ashtray and expect to see their reflection in the bottom.

If it is just the outside body and screens then perhaps about $5 may be what you could charge assuming this task will take no longer than about 30 minutes.

However if you are doing more than just wash (for example vacuum inside, empty ash trays and polish etc) and assuring a good quality work then the amount charged can be lot higher and more rewarding.

15-25 dollars maybe it really depends on how big the car is and how long it takes you to wash it

if it is a fundraiser, ask for a low "minimum donation" of about $2. people will donate a lot more, though!
