tease her slightly, but not mockingly. Say a joke that's just funny enough to make her smile or giggle, but not enough to make her completely laugh out loud(if this happens, you are almost automatically put into the friend zone as the funny one). pass her a few glances over a period of 2 days max. then, after you have gotten past her shield, simply talk to her without trying to act cool or act anything for that matter(however, if you DO try to act cool, don't screw it up by wearing sunglasses indoors or anything like that). If she doesn't already have a boyfriend(which would be very odd considering the age) and you are positively SURE you want to ASK HER OUT! then ask her and she will most likely say yes. as for date options, NO ROLLER SKATING RINK!!!! i cannot stress that enough dude. walk in the park maybe? picnic? NO MOVIE!!(it sounds good but its not) dinner is always an option, but considering various parents would be waiting in the car, I'd suggest a lunch outing. Break a leg.

Don't ask a sixth or seventh grader out. She is too young for that. If you want to get to know her, arrange a social gathering with some friends and include her.

uh, sounds like a bad idea. why?
1. you just met her, this will make you look shallow and only want her because she is pretty (she will slap you later or spread mean rumors about you during her gossip time)
2. your too young, what do you got to show her your worthy
3. from the description, it seems like you just met her for 3 minutes, again this shows your shallow, a creep, and you will be slapped or kicked in the nuts

Hmm...how about don't? Dating is really (honestly?) kind of stupid at that age. Just talk to her and stuff or if you need to, keep it super low key. If you act like you're interested in being friends and stuff, and she'll be more likely to like you without feeling pressured. Friends really is a lot easier than a relationship at your age.

you dont! wait until high school and then if you still like her go for it! There is a much better chance for a great relationship in high school, so if you really like her wait until you are both ready to date instead of blowing your chances with her while you are still real young.

You just walk up to and her and give her a compliment or two and well, ask her if she'd like to go out sometime.

I would say don't. If you have to ask it here, then don't.
Generally kids that date at that age are in a "dating clik" (not sure how to spell that). Just do it if you are sure she will say yes (girls give hints)
