how do i move the task bar from the top back down to the bottom where its usual location is?

First make sure the taskbar is not "locked".

Left click on the bar and hold while dragging the mouse to the bottom of your screen.

Click and drag all the way to the bottom of the screen. If that doesn't work somebody may have locked the task bar right click on it and uncheck "lock the taskbar", when you moved it to where you want it, relock it

place mouse along bottom of it until you see a double arrow pointer...hold down on left mouse button and drag it down the screen .

grab it with mouse, and drag it back to the bottom
