I'm a minor (I won't put my specific age) , and I'm looking for a summer weekday job. I've tried the local newspaper's website in the job collumn, and my local YMCA's bulletin board. I haven't found anything, help!

It depends on your age, if you are younger than about 15, I would try lawn care for your neighbors for a decent price. I have read that a lot of successful people started out this way. Or you could get a paper route, it will be more than just a summer job, but it allows you to work on your people skills when you have to collect money. If you are over 15 and have reliable transportation, try the fast food business or retail.

Go with someone you know (for example, your best friend's father or uncle) and ask them if you could work with them in something that's not dangerous.
