If I am right, if you sell your house within 18 months the courts can take all except a certain amount of the profit. If your house is paid for, it might not be worth it. The bankruptcy paperwork that you submitted to the courts should have everything spelled out for you and your bankruptcy lawyer should have informed you also. I would call your bankruptcy lawyer to be sure.
