Yes there is.

In the IT industry, there's many different programs that can be used on computers for administrators to track the usage of any given computer the software is installed on.

In your case, key loggers are a very real thing. Basically what they do is log what keys you hit on the keyboard. Therefore anything you type is logged and can be viewed by the administrator in various forms, such as through the program itself or the log emailed to an account.

What's in your favor is that some keyloggers are villianous software. Meaning they're bad to use. One way to get rid of a key logger sometimes (and probably the easiest way) is to see if it's installed on your computer. If you have administrative rights to the PC, you can uninstall any software installed on your system. Another way is to scan your computer for spyware. Many key loggers will show up as spyware and the program doing the scanning will eliminate the threat.

Hope this helps.

A keylogger is a program on your computer that records every keystroke you make. You cannot get rid of it by deleting temp files and cookies. You need to run Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware programs to find it and try to remove it. If your AV/AS programs detect it, they will tell you the name of the program. Go to this site and make a post giving the name of the program in the post. Pay attention to answers from: onemjc, trueorient, rattler243, jibberjabber. The will advise you and direct you to sites that will help you remove it.

If it turns out he didn't put it on, then he is a worthless, control freak liar and useless waste of skin. This is the type of person that should not be allowed to live among human beings. Get rid to the SOB today.

Now that you know what he truely is, if you let him stay and continue a relationship, then you are asking for and deserve all that he will do in the future. And he will do more and much worse in the future.

Don't use the VICTIM excuse that no one asks for or deserves to be treated this way. Now that you know the truth, and you fail to take the RESPONSIBILITY to stop it, then you are asking for and deserve everything that happens. It's as simple as that.

Yes, as I recall, there's a program, that records every button you press on your computer. So whenever you write something in an email, the program records it. If you want to make sure, that no such program is running on your computer, do this:
Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE to open the Task Manager under Windows XP. Then go to the processes tab. There, go through all processes, that are under your logon name, and remove anything that looks suspicious, besides rundl32 and explorer.exe. Don't remove a system process or a local network process! Then, your friend wouldn't be able to spy on you no more.

There's a way to do that, yes you can see all the sites you visited and what emails you sent, but um you don't want a key log on your computer.

Oh yeah, a key log is just that, it logs everything you type. All he has to do is look at the logs. Certainly get your own computer and password protect it so he can't be such a nosey a$$..... or better yet, get your own computer and dump the jerk

Yes, he can do that. He will find out that you asked this question and that this is my answer.

Frankly, I think that if he is threatening you by saying that or trying to intimidate you or keep you from doing something, that is not right. You should have your privacy and your boyfriend shouldn't know everything you do. Maybe there are trust issues in your relationship. You should talk to him about it and see why he wants to know everything you're doing.

If you have nothing to hide then you would have no problem. However someone spying on you is never good. In this case, don't change you computer habits, change your friends. Don't use credit cards if you think someone is spying

That's kinda creepy! Why would he want to track your every move?? I think you should tell him where to go. I would say get your own computer, but then he'd prolly go into that one too...he's a creep.
