I Need to reinstall Itunes How do I do it?

Question

I was going to download the new I tunes because everytime I would open I tunes up the music store would have an error and after I downloaded it I can' topen it. I deleted it from my computer and re installed it with the disk I got with my Ipod nano but nothing changed HELP!!!!!!

I have already tried going to apple.com an downloading them both and that is how I got into this mess in the first place

Uninstall iTunes from your computer. Make sure the iTunes folder has been deleted from the C:/ Program Files folder...

Then, go to My Documents> My Music> iTunes, and copy the folder called "iTunes Music". Copy and paste it in your My Documents folder for the time being. Then, delete the iTunes folder from My Music. This contains information (play counts, music, etc...) from the version you had installed before.

Restart you computer and try re-installing the latest version that is available from Apple's website. After you have re-installed iTunes, copy/paste the folder that you placed in My Documents earlier, back into the iTunes folder in My Music.
