clk. I am a Vietnam vet. What war did you fight in?. Need to change your panties? Why are the most patriotic the least willing to put their lives on the line. Talk the walk, but can you walk the walk. If you fought over in Iraq I will apologize profusely. My nephew died over there. I saw buddies in Nam die for a worthless cause. We should not be in other countries civil wars.

He is more then just an embarrassment to the United States, he is dangerous. He evaded the draft by going in the Air Guard, that kept him out of Viet Nam and he didn't even finish that so what do you expect from him. I have learned not to expect any leadership from him as he has made so many bad decisions. So maybe it is good that he is putting this decision on the next president because he would sure mess it up.

It is a look at reality. Perhaps making promises that he knows he cannot keep is more to your liking. Bush has shown a willingness to take the road he feels is best not the one polls say to take. Unlike the nice guys Carter and Clinton, Bush looks to his experience to make decisions and not the pollsters. People need to give Him credit for holding up under the attacks of the left wing and liberals. Sure he made mistakes, everyone does but one that he has not made is giving in. When carter and Clinton had a challenge they did a half ***-ed job handling it and we suffered. Lets hope history remembers that along with Bush's mistakes.

no, its worse than that, he has no exit strategy, the plan was always to actually assimilate Iraq. Why else would we build permanent housing for thousands of troops over there? Its not gutless at all.
The bush admin is determined to have Iraq as a permanent USA territory.
Stupid, evil, dumb, bad idea, but not gutless.

Some might argue that America has got itself stuck between Iraq and a hard place..next door. There is a history of genocide between these two countries that rivals the worst..what a friggin mess.

Indeed me thinks it is. Bush is an incompetent coward. He ran into Iraq both guns blazing and now that we see there can be no "victory" as long as we continue down the path were on he decides to save face by leaving it to the next guy to cut and run.

you bet it's gutless! That's why he's got the lowest approval rating since World War II. It's an insult to all of those who are fighting or who have fought in this war!
