It was a "mistake" intentionally made by our morons in power. Thanks to this "mistake" (a bunch of their lies), 100k Iraqis have died, as have more than 2000 Americans. It's doubtful that you are getting any true facts from the government or the media on this one.

Thanks to this "mistake" America has lost most of its credibility in the world and now we are either unable or unwilling to deal with truly dangerous nuclear situations, like in Iran and Korea.

Thanks to this "mistake" the scoundrel known as Saddam Hussein is beginning to look like a hero to a lot of people in that part of the world.

Thanks to this "mistake" we have yolked our grandchildren with tremendous debt, and we have compromised our ability to deal with our own natural disasters (Hurricaine Katrina).

Thanks to this "mistake" we have polarized the Muslim and Arab world against us, even though a lot of Americans never hated anyone.

Thanks to this "mistake" we have sacrificed a lot of our precious civil liberties in the name of "security."

Thanks to this "mistake" we have distracted Americans from many of the really important issues at hand. (Who cares about gays? And why should this issue come up now?)

There is no upside to hanging around Iraq or to leaving it right now. We should set a deadline, then pull our troops out.

We have spent a lot of money destroying the infastructure of their country. Remember Clinton left office with a comfortable budget surplus and now we have a HUGE deficit.

What have we accomplished? Very little. We got Saddam and a few of his honchos, but we could have done that with a small (25 million dollars, say) ransom offer. Probably would have found him sooner.

The bridges and piplines would still be intact and there would be much less dissent in the region.

In my opinion, this war could have been avoided. I seen on a website, address unknown at this time, that this war is costing US taxpayers $100,000 per minute. Bush should get his a** kicked out the door. Better things could have been used for this money, like build new schools, build new hospitals, etc.

It's a shortcut to Iran. Revenge is in the air. Why not? Those sand ******* took us hostage in December, 1977. Since revenge is a dish best served cold, the time has now come. And I'm all for it. Did you know that they kept one hostage? She's still there.
