I never really have been a fan of make-up...And kinda wanna start but IDK what kind and what colors n all that

I have hazel colored eyes and a lightish brown hair color with a little blonde on the tips..Any ideas of what color eye shadow and all that??? Or what kinds of make-up or possibly how to put it on...Never really liked to put on make-up cuz it would look horrible on me...And never really ahve the time to......So if you could possibly help I would REALLY appreciate it...

You have the same coloring as me. For eyes...purple and brown. Dust a little eyeshadow on your lid from lash line to the crease. Next curl your lashes with a good lash curler. Be careful to open it before you move it away. Then add a black or brown mascara. For cheeks, dust a small amount of peach blush on the apples of your cheeks. And for your lips...clear gloss. You will look FABULOUS!

For your eye shaddow- I'd start with neutral tones- tans, greys, browns, etc- hard to go wrong there.

For eye liner- use a dark brown instead of black- it won't make you look like a crack whore!

Pick one (and only one) feature on your face that you love- eyes or lips, whatever. Then play up that feature. If it's your eyes- start with the eye liner, then do something darker in the crease between your eyelid and the brow bone.

Experiment with where you put other colors. If you don't like something, wash your face and start over.

Anything you try- be sure to blend it in so you don't look like a clown. Find someone with similar coloring to yours (skin tone, eye color, hair color)- your mom, an aunt, etc, who wears make up and looks good and ask her... and if you're really bold- you can even ask a drag queen- they are usually really good with taking what God gave them and making it look HOT!

There will be a lot of different color combinations for eyes, cheeks and lips. Play around with them until you create a complete color look that's right for you.

eyeliner is great.. if your skin is medium toned maybe a brownish neutral eyeshadow but if it's more fair and lighter something pink maybe... and if it's darker, a gold shimmer might look good.. use mascara always makes a good effect (i like maybelline's blackest black), you could use blush on your cheekbones but not too much, just enough so you look..blushing? and a powder just to even out your skin and light pink/neutral lip glosses are 'in' so you could try a sheer gloss. some good brands i've tried are MAC, stilla, bobbi brown, covergirl, neutrogena, maybelline, and rimmel. you don't have to wear all that stuff for it to look good.. since you're just starting to wear makeup you might just want to try a little bit of powder or blush and eyeliner and gloss.
