No...you shouldn't tell him, nor should you be involved or get involved with him. So long as he is married there is that chance no matter how slim that he could reconcile with his wife, and you shouldn't be there to make that impossible or harder for him to do. You are also only opening yourself up to hurt by being involved...best to stay away.

WAIT until the divorce is FINAL!! More than anything, the separation may come to an end and he'll end up pleading to go back to his wife and more than likely, she'll take him back. THen, you'll be the one left standing and you'll have to deal with the let down of giving yourself to him. There's a reason why he's separated...find out what exactly happened and who he is before even toying with the idea of love because if he declared it to his wife and they're seperated, his commitment level is questionable.

No, you need to let him try to work things out with his wife or wait until his divorce is over with. If you tell him now, it will only complicate things for him. He will always blame you if things should of went the other way. You don't want that hanging over your head. Just be patient and if it was meant to be then it will happen.

If you tell him before he is divorced it would be interfering, interrupting his possible devotion to his marriage.
Why would you put your self in this position?
In a troubled relationship out side contact is most always lust....If he divorces her based on rebound you can be sure you would pay a price in the end.

seperated well it depends if they have filed for divorce or not. if he is just "seperated" and doesn't plan to file soon, then maybe not. i would still tell him though and let him know you would like something more with him but after he has made a decision to file for divorce.
