This is what I have to say about tattoos. Honey, you can get Hepatitis C from it. It is the most rampant cause of cirrhosis of the liver. There is a treatment for Hepatitis C, but only 50% of those infected will respond to given treatment; the rest get liver disease and die. I also just got my blood drawn yesterday to see if I have Hepatitis C. You see we just found out 4 days ago that my husband has it and that I could also have it because I have slept with him. It's no small matter. I'm sitting here scared wondering what the results will be. I hope my test results come back negative. Please pray for me. I also hope for your sake that you choose not to get the tattoo; it's just not worth it. :(

Additional Note: A lot of people say it's fine if you get it done at a sanitary professional place. What they don't tell you is it doesn't matter how sanitary it is because part of the ink that is used goes back into the ink vials. To show you what I mean...imagine drinking out of a straw. Part of the liquid in the straw goes back into the glass when you are finished. It may be a very small amount; however, it is the same concept with the clean needles and ink vials when people get tattoos. Once you get Hepatitis C you have to get interferon shots 3 times a week for 6-18 months and there is no guarantee that it will work or that you won't relapse. I sure hope my test comes back negative. I will just hate it if it doesn't, and it's so sad that my husband has this. We have an appointment set up with his doctor in a couple weeks to go over his treatment plan. I think people that get tattoos are crazy!!!!

find a good place and tell the tatoo artist what you want, thats why they are called artists. Just remember, a tatoo is permanent, you gotta get something your gonna still want when your 60.
and blue popcornzz idea has been done waaayyy too much. dont do it.

I got a tattoo when I was 18 and let me tell ya. I am totally regretting it now. If you decide to go through with it, just think of these things.

1. Can I look my kids in the eyes and be proud of my decision?
2. Will my prospective employer mind (this has to do with location of tat)?
3. When I get get old, will is sag? LOL!

If you have to rely on the oppinions of others when deciding on a tatto, then no you should not get one. You should only get a tattoo if you truly want one and are willing to live with it for the rest of your life...so pick something that isn't gonna make you feel like an idiot when you're sixty and have grandkids.

(By the way...yes I do have tattoos.)

Wutz wrong with Stars, or Rainbows, or butterflys??? Theyre cuter, plus I think if your gonna ever get a Girl Friend, they would feel threatoned if they dont look like that second one you mentioned- Xactly. Oh, and the skull...Naw, itz only hurting yerself. Ok, more masculin, uhhmmmm...Get one that looks like a flame in blak- that ink type...and make it go around you upper part of yer arm, like that thorny look. Ya, thatz cool.
Bye. Hav Fun!!!

No you shouldn't get a tattoo. If a mistake is made, you could be stuck with a big blotch of ink on your body for the rest of your life. If your body reacts to the ink you could be permanently hiding a part of your body. And what if you get tired of it?! It could cost 20,000 to get removed, plus a TON of pain.

You should get a Skull, with 2 arrows going through. (where the bones would be). Also 2 snakes coming out of the eye sockets.

Get one if you really think you want it. But think about it, don't do it impulsively or you will probably end up with something you don't like. Check out a few parlors to get an idea of what you may want, as well as check portfolios of the artist to see if you like their work.

Get a tattoo of a fine lady holding a skull in her hand, sliding down a rainbow while she is being impaled on the horn of a unicorn. (I stole the idea of a unicorn from Napolean Dynamite.)
