You should play your cards close to your "chess." Don't be their pawn. Why don't you take them out one knight ......and pick up the check mate! They'll think you are king. :)

Perhaps they will "draught" you into their gang if you let them 'capture' you once and for all. *shrugs* Or you can do as the Chinese do and use your "marbles".
