How do i record a video/desktop activity onto my firewire miniDV camera?

not exactly what i was looking for, but thanks, i didn't realize that WMM could do that. I was actually meaning for recording videos with weird formats fullscreen to camera, then onto the computer. You did answer best though, unless somebody else actually answers my question.

all you have to do is have the video you want to record, open WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER, or some other movie editing program, put the video on the timeline (make some effects if you want to), and FILE, SAVE MOVIE FILE, (make sure your camera is connected to your computer through a firewire), and there will be a option for your camcorder or camera... click on it, and it will record the video to your camera from your computer.... phew... (best answer!!!)

You can't use your firewire to do your requst. Since firewire is for tranfer files between devices.

If your system/video card is high ends, you can do like this:
connect your computer video RCA out -> DV's RCA in -> DV's RCA out -> TV/monitor RCA in.

No, yet i did attempt to an excellent style of situations to consume soup with a spoon, tremendously if a soup is thick (you could thicken the soup efficiently by technique of including some flour). It takes extra time, so I relish it longer
