not a website but your local library should be able to help. if it is a childrens book i know there is a "master directory" that has listings in it by title, subject, main characters which i have used myself. good luck.

If you type a character's name in at wikipedia it might come up with something.

If you have names, places you could try listing with commas inbetween and googeling.
