they have these glass jars you put I think you add sugar water to the bottom and they fly in and become trapped. You should treat the nest of them at night and knock it down with a stick you can use some sort of pesticide(be careful and don't flash a light on the nest they will be active but not so much be very cautious they will chase you) . I use a water hose, particulary for the wasp, then I knock the nest down. For the bees if they have bored there way into the wood treat it with pesticides, if you suspect that there are more than you think I would call a exterminator,

By a wasp sprayer. They are available at most stores like walmart, Home Dept, etc.
