if your husband bought his secretary or someone at work something more extravigant and appealing and more expensive of a birthday present then he did you?what would you do?

I would express my hurt feelings. Then tell him he has to ask for it back and return it and buy me something twice as expensive and extravagant. If he won't, I will simply close my mouth and stash money away and leave when timing is right.

It is according to what she does for him at work. If she is good at her job maybe he was rewarding her. My secretary was so good i gave her a all expenses pd. trip to Disney world for her & her 2 children. Shes single & works real hard. She is always doing work she dosent have to. I dont know where I would be with out her. My wife agrees.

second, how well does your wife know about your secretary??
i mean come on, if you are saying this is a company tradtion it should be find, and since you are the boss you have to buy a pricer gift. and that should be find.
but if you are buying in the $300 up. then your wife can question.

I would be upset. I think that the husband / wife feeling should always come into effect when buying something for someone else!

I'd talk to him about it. It could mean a number of things. He could be cheating, but it could simply mean that the other woman helped him out quite a bit at work. Ask him and see what he says.

Yes this would upset me and i would wonder why? I would tend to think he is having an affair.... I would talk to the secretary and find out the truth.....

I would be furious and I would let my husband know how i feel. your husband isnt faithful at all doing that . you need to be checking this other woman out hun . boy do you have marital problems

yes it would bother me. if he was to buy another female a gife he should ask you to go out and get one like a birthday or christmas present. i would be angry and hubby and i would have to deal with it

ABSOLUTELY! you are his WIFE and are always the #1 woman in his eyes. you need to confront him about this becuase he's the one who screwed up. don't let him twist it on you like its your problem. let him know that its hurtful and unfair for him to treat another woman better than you. he should respect your feelings. if he doesn't than you need to rethink what kind of marriage you are in.
