I called my OB and they said to head in when I have a bloody show or if my water breaks, ect.... I just dont know if all wemon have a bloody show or not. I feel stupid for asking, but I need to know. I was induced. After the induction, my bloody show and the water breaking happened at the same time.

I just did a quick on line search and it says that bloody show MAY occur during labor...so I would say that means it's not a given. You may have just the mucus that you notice, and no blood.

I personally have never seen the bloody show that everyone talks about with any of my previous pregnancies (4). I have however had what I think is loss of my mucus plug... it basically looks like clear boogies.

I'm 36 weeks today and 2-3 cm dilated and started with the mucus at 34 weeks, it comes out all the time now (yuck). No bloody show yet. I have heard of others having it and they went into labor within the next 2 days. It basically means you are dilating, as this is the protective material that blocks the entrance of your cervice and protects your baby from infection.

same thing as the mucus plug. Some times the water breaks at the same time so you don't actually see the plug.
