are black jealous of whites?

blacks are always comparing themselves with whites. when they wanna say something they only mention whites? not asian, muslims or anything. Blacks should appreciate working class whites for importing them from Africa, even though alot do not deserve to be sent to a country such as ours since they have socially destroyed cities. When a black person says something bad about a white perrson, usualy the white guy doesnt care, when something is said about blacks by a white guy, the white guy is RACISTTT!!!!! and all the blacks say somthing about whites. do u guys understadn this?

this is just a mere example. I am stating facts about blacks and what do i get? i bunch of blacks calling me racist. if i had replaced the words black and africa with white and europe, i doubt i wud get this many replies

While whites do thave their pride, blacks have their pride also. Both races have earn a lot of achievements, so there is nothing of this sort.

First I've never compared myself to white, nor have I heard many Black Americans do so. If we have it is only to compare with those in power. (I think you would agree that White Americans do hold the majority of power in the US).

Though I am glad to be living in the US if you look at African History we have had empires and societies as sophisticated as the classical western examples of Greek and Rome. You say we have "socially destroyed cities" I think you must remember who socialized us. It would be those ruling society, those with power.

I am A Black American and Proud to be so. (Even though my country only counted me as 3/5ths of a person) I would not desire to be any other ethnicity. I have served my country as a Peace Corps Volunteer and probably withstood more racism than you would understand. My people literally built the US. I am not jealous of white people. On the contrary some of my best friends are white. Can you say the same about Black Americans, have you served our country?

I understand that as a white person, there are a lot of things that I will never understand about the African American experience. I understand that we all have to live together in the circumstances we face. I understand that we seek out what we know, and thus segregate ourselves. I understand that there are racists in every race. I understand that we are a long way from racial equality, yet we've come exceedingly far in the last few decades. I understand that I do not need to apologize for the actions of my slave-owning ancestors or those of my civil rights activist anscestors because I was not born yet when they did what they did. Things are the way they are. We are not yet equal, but we are working towards it. Please help. Your attitude is part of the problem.

There is a lot more to this issue than you've mentioned. Black people have to live around us white people, which sometimes is okay, but sometimes can be irritating to them, just like they can be irritating to us. But we have to learn to get along.
It's not an overall phenomenon anyway. Some black people are very successful, so they sure wouldn't count in that category. But even the ones that aren't so successful probably don't give a rat's behind about being white. Some of them are very religious, and caught up in their own lives and have their own philosophies.
It's not a cut and dried issue. To believe so seems kind of racist, to me.

For one thing,we were sold out by our own kind to white salvetraders in Africa. After 400 years of oppression we were told that we were inferior. Considering this and many ither factors,I doubt very highly if we are jealous of whites. I do however know some blacks who have money and all of a sudden forgotten where they came from and call other blacks who are less fortunate,derogatory names. I wonder why?

i dont think it is jealousy, i think it is ignorrance (before anyone goes off on me, im not done). I am NOT saying all blacks are ignorrant, and there are idiots in every race. Many Blacks have realized what great opportunities are out there and they make something of themselves just as every one else has the opportunity to do. But there are those who want to sit around a B**** and complain about how they were wronged, when they themselves werent wronged. it is sad that those people cant see beyond their own hatred and greed.

I really can't understand how ignorant some people really are. You should go back to your history books. feel the pain and horrific times these people had at our ancestorial hands. We've grown from this yet there are still so many ignorant predjudice people out there that think other than white should be greatful for our little hand outs. I cry to think this attitude is justified. Obviously we have alot more to learn about ourselves.

I have attacked blacks for being racist while saying racist things myself.

I have also been a victim of black racism.

I think that we are all probably guilty of this at one time or another.

The point is to stop it!

First, don't lump all all of one skin color together like they are the same. I don't like to hear a black person talk about whites like we all decended from tyronic slave owners with whips and I don' t like to here you say "Blacks should appreciate working class whites for importing them from Africa, even though alot do not deserve to be sent to a country such as ours since they have socially destroyed cities." Man, that is as racist as you can get. There were probably African Americans here contributing to America before all of your ancesters arrived. Blacks were slaves for years and ostracised after that. There are going to be those that hate white people. But don't contribute to their hate. Be nice. That is how you can help, not by helping to fuel social division.

Secondly, don't buy products promoted by media vehicles that promotes racism of any kind. Boycott them. When the money goes away and it is as unpopular for blacks to put down whites as it is for whites to put down blacks then maybe we can all focus on productivity.

Third, get educated.
Remember that blacks and whites had a long and recent history of social conflict. This happened before other minorities even were a large percentage of the population. I never owned a slave and do not feel guilty about slavery because I am white. Very few whites were even decended from slave owners, statistically. But, black people who promote racism without penalty should be corrected. White people who still don't get the message should also be corrected. Now, blacks are free to play this card and can site justification for it. Don't put up with it but don't increase their credibility by saying things like, "all blacks to this" or "you are just like all the rest." You just prove their point when you take that attitude.

Fourth, let your money talk.
Talk freely about the media that promotes conflict: the commedians, mean people, political leaders and others that benefit financially from racism. Boycott the T.V. and radio stations that show racists and promote them. Stop buying the newspapers, magazines and products they sell when they help racism's cause. Isolate the ones who play the racist card. They are attacking whites and isolating blacks.

Fifth, be nice.
Do not attack. Be nice even to the hateful ones and show them compassion. They are probably not from the top of society and need to know that you are not against them. One friend of mine that is now 60 years old and lived through some of the worst of it is one of the nicest guys I have known. I asked him how I can help and he said to recognize a black person in a mixed group. I had never thought about it but he said that often whites will simply ignore a black. Well, make a point of not doing that and you will be heartily rewarded for your efforts in smiles and goodwill.

Lastly, I agree with your main point, that many blacks get away with murder by saying and acting in ways a white man could not. But, as a race, we have been guilty of the same in the past. I have been guilty of the same. It is time to enjoy the nice things about people's differences and appreciated diversity. When someone in China or India or anywhere else in the world watches American T.V., wouldn't it be great for them to see us getting along with each other! Isn't it mind expanding to enjoy another culture or view on life. Personally, I am greatful to be here and am also greatful to the black race for helping America grow, both yesterday and today. Our country needs some time to heal from the past but it is to everyone's benefit to show the young people where the past is and where the future is leading us.

are u racist? you always seem to ask provocative questions that make people angry. what is ur purpose and/or deal? why do u target blacks, and seperate them from white people, people are people, skin color is not a choice, sadly it may be true that SOME black people are jealous of white people, they are jealous at the oppurtunities white people have because of the racist society that judges them, however at the same time some white people are jealous of black people because of their God-given natural ability to be physically fit, it works both ways
