ok well not in all cases, however in the case that a couple was careful and used protection, well that is WRONG!! i think the only case it is okay, is if the girl was raped! its ur fault and u shouldn't have has sex in the first place if u were planning on having an abortion if in fact u were pregnant!

It is not wrong in all cases......
1. The couple had the choice to have sex in the first place, and just like you said, things can happen, the couple should know that things can happen and in the future should be more careful, or just abstain.
2. In this case, the mother of the child should at the very least carry it to term, and put it up for adoption to another family that can afford taking care of it. Crisis pregnancy centers and churhces can provide the financial needs of the mother during the actual pregnancy.

In the case where the mother's life is truely in danger, and the mother will DIE if the baby is not aborted, then in this rare case, it is okay.

Personally, I believe abortion is wrong. In all cases. It is taking the life of an unborn baby. The baby is here for a reason, if not you will miscarry or you would have never conceived in the first place. Rather its a gift from God, or even if you are not spirital it still happened for a reason. Yes the coupled used protection, but thats only 98% effective, and the couple was one of the few 2%. Not everyone is blessed with a child, love your child if not give it to someone who will(adoption). Don't live life regreting taking your childs life, wondering what the child would have been boy or girl, or what he or she would have looked like or done in life. Don't place yourself in line for regrets, think about the child first. You won't regret it in the long run.

I believe that using abortion as a form of contraception is totally wrong. There are so many forms of contraception on the market now to avoid pregnancy in the first place. If you can't afford to have a baby then make sure you don't get pregnant. I personally would never have an abortion but I sympathise with people who want an abortion because of a deformity or some such thing.

When you're getting a legal abortion early on, they're basically vaccuming a clump of cells the consistency of gel off of your womb. Being afraid of getting a legal abortion if like worrying about murdering helpless germs when you clean the kitchen.

Illegal home abortions force the mother to wait until the cells have grown into a full fetus, so it can be pulled out with tools. What was once an unintelligent clump of cells is now a formed baby with a brain and senses. In my opinion, that is wrong.

idont think it is wrong if it is totally an accident. the only time i may think it is wrong is if some easy girl was going in for her 3rd one or something. i believe that if u absolutely cant provide for it and if nobody close to you that can help out can provide for it then i think the right thing to do would be to get an abortion. unless you would be strong enough to give it up for adoption after carrying it around with you for 9 months. personally, i wouldnt be able to do that. but youd have to do what your heart feels. youd have to be 250% sure on whatever you decide because no matter what you chose, there is a point where it becomes too late to turn back.

No ...

You should only have a baby when ready and the kid will be happy, healthy and loved and looked after.

The church does not care about the welfare of women or kids just numbers...

Thats why there are no commandments against rape, abuse or wife beating.

Gods like santa and the tooth fairy don't exist. that leaves room for rational ethics...

Initially its just cells, like the result of a guy Wnking...or your period.

Look at the third world... full of children suffering on the streets being child prostitutes and I MEAN CHILD NOT TEENAGER due to the evil churchs anti sex ed, contraception and abortion in the name of evil go forth and multiply thinking to make them stronger and richer.

Look at the history of god thinkings... nothing but mass murder, sexisim, homophobia, injustice, inquistions, wars, witch burning, rape, murder and torture...

Not good folk to base your ethics on.

So all that will happen if you have the kid is it will grow up in pain, you too will be under stress, take it out on the kid, the pill has a histroy of abuse even if you do not wich it now or unhappy, end up cutting itself, end up alcholic or on hard drugs, possibly a bottom end prostitute beaten up by some pimp...

That really better then a termination before its aware...

And that essence terning up later in a happy, wanted, well looked after happy kid?

Or is it mass producing christians, or muslims etc to make some group richer or more powerful better...

There is always the choice of adoption and while this is a difficult path to take, the mother will not have to go through the trauma of killing her own child. I feel this way because i know people who are trying to deal with the guilt of their decisions years later. I am not politically pro-life but strongly feel that women should at the very least research and understand all of the alternatives to abortion before making such a life-changing decision.

Abortion.Sometimes mothers use abortion because she doesn't want a baby.To me that is cruel. Some mothers use abortion because she cannot take care of the child and she doesn't want to see the child suffer. That is fair.

It depends on how parents use abortion. Some terminate a pregnancy merely of selfishness which then makes abortion wrong. Some because they're doing what best for the child in that case I cannot argue.

I believe that the only justified reason for abortion is if the mothers life is at risk. Even if you have taken precautions there is a good reason why you got pregnant and we have no right to take any life.
I made a mistake once and was offered an abortion by my doctor but I turned it down. I now have a beautiful daughter and granddaughter who have enriched my life beyond compare
