I think it is one of the most spiritual films I have ever seen. Also, Costner was great. He relied on his acting ability not his looks. What are your thoughts?

I have seen the film. I have a fondness for dragonflies. They are one of my favorite insects and I enjoy watching them dart around streams and lakes every summer. They come out in droves in late summer and early fall. (I don't have a dragonfly-shaped birthmark, in case you were wondering). It was an interesting movie. I don't think I would call it a spiritual film, though, but that is my opinion. I did find that scene in the kitchen scary....the scene where the parrot is flipping out and then Kevin sees the image of his wife through the window. That made me JUMP! Freaky! Have you seen Kevin Costner in Open Range? It is a western that came out in 2003, and he directed that one. I like old Kev.

Yes, I have seen it and enjoyed it very much. KC runs a bit hot and cold with me. In his movies I either really like him or hate it. He seemed more 'relaxed' with the part in Dragonfly. Just my take on it.

The exploration of the possibility of a lasting connection (in both directions) after death was fascinating. One of his better flicks.

That is my favorite movie. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and you can't guess how it is going to end. I enjoyed every minute of it... Excellent suspense...
