The premise here is extremely arbatrary---YOU think too many people redo---I think just enough people redo---and I'm almost positive someone else will come along that thinks far too few people redo----so my answer is ===too many people redo their answers to questions because you think too many do===

Well some do it because of mispellings or they may have not put the words in the order that they meant (they were thinking faster than they were typing). Just like the way that you phrased your question, it may have come out exactly as you wanted it, or maybe you were trying to say "Why do so many people re-do they're answers to questions". Who know's!

sometimes they go back & read the other peoples answers & redo there answer to make theres sound better. Or if they make a spelling error.

Sometimes you answer a question and then find better information a little later. Or you might want to add a note to your answer if one of the answers that was contributed after yours is just plain wrong.
