I DID wash my hands afterwards. I'm not that stupid. It still leaves them a little orange though.

HA-Ha same thing happened to me years ago. I rubbed the tanning cream all over my legs and then I fell sleep. No wonder, my palms kept that weird color for a few days. Just wash them repeatedly. An extra tip, try some lemon juice and sugar. Rub your hands gently. It will help you wash the stains of and leaves your skin really soft..

You could try nail polish remover. . . . It gets all sorts of stains off things, and is designed for your hands to be exposed to it.

If you have a whitening toothpaste, or one of those ones with baking soda in that will probably do the trick too. Just scrub with a nail brush.

It's probably a lot kinder than using neat bleach.

If you do go with the bleach idea, make sure you wash your hands thoroughly, and don't use it near your face or other sensitive areas. If you are going to use bleach you could try the cream that ladies use for bleaching hairs on their face - that must be mild enough to use on your hands!

Cif works wonders. or buy a self tan remover but sometimes the only way is to let it wear off. next time wash your hands straight after application or use a self tan mitt - prevents streaks and no stained hands!

I really don't recommmend that you do this okay, but I use a small amount of bleach on a damp cotton wool ball for this. It's also great for reducing runs, streaks or 'heavy' areas.
Bleach is an irritant though and will burn your skin. You have to wash like mad straight afterwards to make sure that it is all off.
I'd try the other suggestions first.

It's a stain so you just have to make it wear off. Fortunately the palms of your hands are the most regenerative skin on your body, so if you scrub your hands a lot it should be gone in a day.

Good one! I guess the only way really, is not to get it on in the first place (sorry!)

Next time you apply it, make sure you wash your hands. Another tip is....some self tanning products make your belly button turn orange!!!

Sorry not to be more helpful.

Use an industrial hand cleaner gel, this rubbed in for about 2-3 mins then rinsed off. Car spares retailers sell it under different trade names. Swarfega, Rozelex, etc.
