Now that you've mentioned it...no, I haven't either. I've seen baby ducks that were MOSTLY yellow, but had dark green or brown stripes. They didn't have feathers, though; they were still fluffy.
I'm off to the park right now, to find a white duck and spray-paint it yellow.

Ducklings (baby ducks...) are yellow. When they are first born they don't have feathers, just a soft warm fluff covering their bodies and in many breeds of ducks this is partially or completely yellow (an entirely white feathered duck would start out as a cute all-yellow fluff ball) So I guess all those rubber duckies must be babies.

thats funny i never thought of that, chicks are yellow, but ive never seen a yellow duck, when your a kid and your coloring in a coloring book you always colored the duck yellow-wonder why?

little baby ducks are sometime yellowish and change darker later...but i bet the "rubber ducky" is based on a chicken chick
