well as you, I use the yahoo messenger. As all we know, when we are online, the yahoo messenger informs us by a little box in the down right corner of the screen who yahoo-messenger user everytime gets online or offline. We all know also that yahoo messenger informs us ONLY for the yahoo-messenger users who get online that are included in our lists (friend list or other).
The problem is that sometimes the yahoo messenger informs me for users that I dont know them at all - they are not included in my lists, none of them!!!
Could you please tell me whats wrong??? Should I be concered about this or no? Thank you for your attention.

A lot of people have aliases when u add them to messenger there original name appears instead of aliases name I think. It happens to me on my messenger. If u were to add me my name would change to coz I have 2 aliases and my original name.

I have noticed that sometimes Yahoo will show an alias instead of the main Yahoo ID,,, I know because I also know the alias ID

I have had people on my list that I have removed and then they still show up on my list as logging on and off, make sure they arn't your friends real names as this can be confusing sometimes too.

The same thing happens to me i think you were using chat at the time and it shows who comes into the chat that way i belive if i am wrong someone correct me
